Things get delicious on January 10th at the top of Brighton’s Majestic lift as we jib on gumdrops, slide down candy canes and put the fun back in the Fun Box. The course, built by Jared Winkler co-owner of KAB (Kick Ass Builders) rail-building company, and the Brighton Terrain Park Crew, will feature sugary-sweet features that will get your jibbing senses tingling. Talk about a win-win situation for contestants and spectators alike, this day will go down in infamy among the local riders of Salt Lake. All levels of competition are welcome. Divisions include men’s and women’s brackets, which will be subdivided into 17-and-under, and an open skiing and snowboarding categories.

Utah’s finest unknown rippers finally get the chance to see how they stack up against the big dogs.
This comp is just what it sounds like––trick for trick our regions amateurs will attempt to match top pros and compete for their gear. There has never been a comp like this one. Sweet satisfaction will be served as local amateurs attempt to stomp out pro riders.
Steve Duke, Terrain Park Manager at The Canyons and co-owner of KAB (Kick Ass Builders) rail-building company, will build a course for all the local amateurs to prove their worth against the pros. Skier's divisions will compete against Stefan Thomas, Team Athlete of The Canyons Resort. Women’s Open Snowboarding will compete against Celtek team rider Iris Lazzareschi and Men’s snowboarding divisions against Erik Leines and the Celtek Clan. Local amateurs will go head-to-head in the first heat matching the Pro's tricks. Top riders will jam out to see who will reign supreme! This day is sure to go down in infamy among local riders.
